Born and raised in Italy, Mario brings musical arrangements rich in the flavor of the Mediterranean culture: “From a very young age, one of my dreams has been to play jazz. In 1981, while performing onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, for a short time, I was very fortunate to have Rich Franksas a drummer in my band. You are bound to be inspired from a musician who has shared the stage with such notable figures as Jaco Pastorius, John Patitucci, and Herbie Hancock!
Mario has been performing around the Baltimore/Washington area for decades, including years at Sullivan’s Steakhousein Baltimore Inner Harbor, at the Sheraton in Towson, MD., Facci Wine Bar and Cured 18th and 21st in Columbia.
Don’t be surprised to see guest players such as Mike Pope, Alex Weber, Mikel Combs, Byung Chang, Steve McGrath performing with Mario.
